The steps, in order
- First aid course, for categories A, B, A1 and B1.
- Eyesight test.
- Submitting the application for the learner licence.
- Basic theory test.
- Road safety course (traffic theory).
- Accompanied driving, with or without an accompanying driver depending on the category.
- Practical test.
- Probationary licence, for a three-year probationary period.
- Further training course, within twelve months of the probationary licence, before obtaining the definitive licence.
